2008 dance music has been sub-par to say the least, to much garbage not enough love. So thank you Mr. Oizo for releasing Lambs Anger next month, you might of just saved 2008 from being a total loss. The Juan Maclean, Hercules & The Love Affair, MGMT and your French self were the few glimmers of light shinning from the lonely disco ball this year for me. I know i’m being a bit dramatic about the decline of quality dance music this year, I’m just hungry and had to vent about something.
This is why I have a music crush on Mr. Oizo:
Mr. Oizo has style, there is no doubt about it. His tracks read like a beautiful grocery store love novel littered with passion, lust, and sweaty sex. For that reason, you can usually catch one of Mr. Oizo’s track on my rotation when I DJ here in city. The Lambs Anger album is amazing from beginning to end and hits your local dance friendly record store November 17th.
